This Walnut bowl has been carved, textured, colored and then top coated with a clear pearlescent glaze on the outside. The inside has been left smooth and natural allowing the true beauty of the Walnut to shine. Natural cracks on the inside have been left (but filled to seal them with sanding dust and wood glue). This piece measures approximately 5" wide x 2" high x 1.75" deep at its largest sections. Finished with Walnut oil, this bowl is food safe and can be used to hold nuts and other snacks, but can also be used as a more utilitarian bowl for keys, rings, change, etc.
